Biography
Although learning comes with its challenges, Aisha Giwa believes it is one of life’s greatest activities. She joined CCSA in July 2021 not only to learn but also to apply her skills to projects and initiatives that impact and improve the lives of people living with substance use disorders.
In her previous roles, Aisha served as a project coordinator for the Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support and Integration and as a research coordinator for eHealth Africa.
Aisha considers completing her PhD in Geography to be her greatest achievement. She also holds a master’s degree in public health. She earned them from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom.
In her free time, Aisha can be found with a good book.
