Bridget’s areas of expertise include epidemiology and public health surveillance methodologies.
Biography:
Before joining CCSA, Bridget Maloney-Hall had been successful in both the public and private sectors. Yet she wanted to work somewhere that supported her passion for research in support of public policy.
Bridget’s work at CCSA includes chairing the National Treatment Indicators Working Group and the Canadian Community Epidemiology Network on Drug Use, and contributing to the report on Canadian Substance Use Costs and Harms (2007–2014).
Bridget’s education includes a BA from the University of King’s College in Halifax and a Masters of Public Health from the University of British Columbia. Her career includes positions in the Government of the Northwest Territories, Goss Gilroy Inc. and Harry Cummings and Associates.
In her spare-time, Bridget is a bookworm. She also is a baker trying to master the perfect chocolate chip cookie.
