Christine Levesque, PhD

Christine’s areas of expertise include alcohol, non-suicidal self-injury and interpersonal relationship functioning.
Biography:
With a passion for research and statistical analysis, Christine Levesque has collaborated on multiple large-scale research projects in psychology. In contributing to these projects, she has gained extensive experience in research design and publishing her findings. She has published many research articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Her intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm to discover a new research field led Christine to join CCSA in September 2020. While managing her role at CCSA, Christine is an active member of the editorial board of the Journal of Youth and Adolescence. She is also a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, teaching social psychology, and quantitative and psychometric methods in psychology.
Christine holds an Honours BA in psychology with a minor in statistics and a PhD in experimental psychology, both from the University of Ottawa.
Christine enjoys living in the country and finds time to practice karate while raising her three sons.
