Summarizes various youth drug prevention programs that focus on educating youth about the effects of drugs on the brain. The study indicates that, although research is limited, some neuroscience-based programs have had success in shifting youth’s attitudes and should be considered as complementary strategies to prevent or delay the use of substances.
