Making all CCSA Publications Fully Accessible

You may have noticed a new pop-up on the CCSA website when trying to access PDFs.

This is a temporary process as we work to ensure all publications meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.

We are working to update more than 700 publications, in both official languages, which will take time. We have begun with our most recent and popular publications.

AODA-compliant publications will be posted to the CCSA website as they’re updated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everyone can access information about substance use, addiction and health.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please email us at AODA-requests@ccsa.ca.

Thank you.

Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth: Brain Builders Lab Case Study

Case study summarizes the Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth (Open Doors)’s Brain Builders Lab project. Open Doors, located in Lanark County, Ontario, already operates from an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach but the brain story adds evidence to why those approaches are important to their work. The Brain Builder wanted to orient Open Doors staff to the brain story to deepen their understanding of attachment-based, trauma-informed approaches. This case study outlines her project goals, knowledge mobilization activities, project outcomes and impact, as well as lessons learned and next steps.
