Update of Canada’s Low-Risk Alcohol Drinking Guidelines: Overview of Reviews of the Association Between Alcohol Use and Aggression and Violence [report]


A review of the association between alcohol use and violence, including patterns of drinking, as it relates to perpetration of and victimization by aggression. The review focuses on three forms of aggression and violence that have shown high rates of involvement with alcohol consumption: intimate partner violence, male-to-female sexual violence, and non-intimate and non-sexual violence between adults.
