About this report
Using data gathered through focus groups conducted with post-secondary students, examines the various factors that contribute to heavy episodic drinking among post-secondary students and provides student ideas for reducing heavy episodic drinking. Participants in the study suggested a combination of peer-to-peer education and factual information from respected older adults to reduce the harms of heavy episodic drinking on campus. Those who work with students in post-secondary settings can use this data to inform and reinforce their work to reduce heavy episodic drinking on campuses.
