Biography:
Nitika Sanger’s professional passion is understanding the complexities of substance use. Being able to inform and create changes in substance use policy and design evidence-based interventions is a long-term professional goal for Nitika. She joined CCSA in June 2021, and her first major project at CCSA created a major impact as she was part of the team that developed Canada’s Guidance on Alcohol and Health.
Nitika earned her PhD in medical sciences from McMaster University. She also holds an honours bachelor of science in mental health and neuroscience from the University of Toronto.
As a dedicated amateur chef, Nitika spends her free time experimenting with new recipes, exploring different cuisines and honing her culinary skills in the kitchen.
