Making all CCSA Publications Fully Accessible

You may have noticed a new pop-up on the CCSA website when trying to access PDFs.

This is a temporary process as we work to ensure all publications meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.

We are working to update more than 700 publications, in both official languages, which will take time. We have begun with our most recent and popular publications.

AODA-compliant publications will be posted to the CCSA website as they’re updated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everyone can access information about substance use, addiction and health.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please email us at AODA-requests@ccsa.ca.

Thank you.

Heavy Episodic Drinking Among Post-secondary Students: Influencing Factors and Implications (Report)

Using data gathered through focus groups conducted with post-secondary students, examines the various factors that contribute to heavy episodic drinking among post-secondary students and provides student ideas for reducing heavy episodic drinking. Participants in the study suggested a combination of peer-to-peer education and factual information from respected older adults to reduce the harms of heavy episodic drinking on campus. Those who work with students in post-secondary settings can use this data to inform and reinforce their work to reduce heavy episodic drinking on campuses.
