Biography:

C’Fine Ezeanochie Okorochukwu is an accomplished public health expert with 18 years of experience working for non-profit and governmental agencies. He holds a master of public health degree and has extensive training in project management, organizational development, health monitoring and evaluation. C’Fine brings a wealth of expertise along with a strong commitment to social impact and community development to his role at CCSA.

As the Manager of Community Health Services at Tl’azt’en Nation in Fort Saint James, BC, C’Fine’s leadership resulted in developing and implementing community health plans, providing disease prevention and intervention services, and advocating for necessary resources. He increased community participation in health services utilization from 40% to 78%, showcasing a great improvement in public health outcomes.

In his role as a subject matter expert on health inequity and social determinant factors for the North American branch of the Centre for Public Impact, C’Fine designed and implemented community intervention programs across multiple states to eliminate health inequity and promote strategic partnerships for community development.

C’Fine’s professional journey also includes serving as the Director of Health Promotion at the Centre for Public Health in Abia, Nigeria. He also has extensive experience as a chief medical officer, emergency medical officer, public health medical officer and medical officer in various healthcare settings. In these roles he was pivotal in developing health policies, conducting epidemiological surveillance and implementing disease prevention initiatives. His contributions led to improved healthcare delivery and better health outcomes for communities.

In his spare time, C’Fine likes reading, travelling and cooking.
