Making all CCSA Publications Fully Accessible

You may have noticed a new pop-up on the CCSA website when trying to access PDFs.

This is a temporary process as we work to ensure all publications meet the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) standards.

We are working to update more than 700 publications, in both official languages, which will take time. We have begun with our most recent and popular publications.

AODA-compliant publications will be posted to the CCSA website as they’re updated.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everyone can access information about substance use, addiction and health.

If you have any questions about this initiative, please email us at AODA-requests@ccsa.ca.

Thank you.

Student Drug Use Surveys Working Group

In 2003, CCSA formed an expert group to support the collection of student drug use data across Canada. The Student Drug Use Surveys (SDUS) Working Group is made up of representatives from provinces that regularly conduct provincial and national student surveys. The SDUS Working Group continues to act as a forum to exchange information on survey design and methodology, and to explore special topics through the data collected by the surveys.

Since its creation, the group has developed strategies to support a coordinated approach to student drug use surveys in Canada, and identified and addressed gaps in knowledge to help inform tailored prevention initiatives for students. The group’s most recent report is Cannabis Use, Harms and Perceived Risks among Canadian Students.
